"Walking two worlds but never really belonging to neither." That's what they always say about half-elves, never fully accepted by their elven brethren and sometimes taken in by their human halves. Finn's father never had a second thought when he decided to raise his son in Waterdeep. Helping his father out at his pub in the north, welcoming visitors from all over, Finn Dewblossom discovered that people were always looking for something. Whether it was riches, knowledge, people, or retribution. Curious about the world and about his elven heritage, Finn began stealing away to the forests of Waterdeep to get in touch with nature and all that.
It was there that he began to sharpen his archery skills, finding he was comfortable with a bow and arrow and his aim was surprisingly impeccable in spite of his dotty nature. (Contrary to wood elf nature, Finn's hair is a dark shade of blue, which makes it easy to assume he is half moon elf instead. He is very much in touch with nature and is often meditating under trees.) Waterdeep makes it easy for him to be in touch with both sides of his heritage, and he doesn't mind never quite belonging to both.
At eighteen, he has taken up with a traveling party and is eager to help those in need, rather than find riches or knowledge.
